According to information disclosed by the US Patent and Trademark Office, Apple once again registered an imaginative patent, the "wrap-around display." The patent application titled "Electronic Devices with Wraparound Display" is a technology for portable device screens.

According to the data, the Apple wrap-around screen uses a "hollow cover structure" and can be attached with a layer of crystal material such as sapphire for protection. The core of the patent is flexible display technology, so the biggest possibility is OLED.
Although the patent does not mention which device, the picture example device is a tubular portable device.
In addition, Apple also pointed out application support, as well as possible touch/voice/accelerometer inputs, which are the iconic configurations of the company's mobile devices.
Curved screens are still relatively rare in the electronic world – more common in TV/monitor/smartphones (such as Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge and LG's G Flex series) – completely wrap-around screens are not seen by manufacturers. However, it is difficult for Apple to launch a similar product in the future.
