The digital display insulation resistance tester consists of medium and large scale integrated circuits. This watch has large output power, high short-circuit current value and many output voltage levels (four voltage levels). The working principle is that the DC high voltage generated by the DC/DC conversion of the battery in the machine is passed from the E pole to the L pole through the tested product, thereby generating a current from the E to the L pole, and is completed by the I/V conversion through the divider. The calculation directly displays the measured insulation resistance value by the LCD.

1 , measurement steps

Turn on the power switch “ON/OFF”, select the required voltage level, the default is 100V, select the desired voltage position, the corresponding indicator light is on, press the high pressure “start and stop” button, the high voltage indicator lights, the LCD display is stable. Multiplying the value by 10 is the measured insulation resistance value. When the insulation resistance value of the sample exceeds the upper limit of the meter range, the first digit of the display shows “1” and the last three digits are extinguished. When turning off the high voltage, just press the high voltage “start and stop” button again, and press the power “ON/OFF” when turning off the power of the whole machine.

Note: During the measurement, because the sample has absorption and polarization process, the insulation value reading gradually drifts to a large value or has some up and down jumps, which is a normal phenomenon.
