Recently, Tyco Electronics has released a new small non-polar board-to-board connector designed for LED printed circuit boards in various applications, such as LED cabinet lighting, LED furniture lighting, LED advertising lighting, LED refrigeration Room lighting, LED decorative lighting and LED spotlight lighting. The new product is a simple SMT connector for in-line board-to-board applications.
The new small surface mount board connectors support smaller mating lengths and heights of 11mm and 2.3mm respectively. Compared to traditional plug and socket styles, new products with non-polar design can significantly enhance the assembly of LED printed circuit board strips. Flexibility to complete the link by sliding the two boards horizontally or vertically.
The new small, non-polar board-to-board connector supports 2, 4 and 6 positions. Operating current and voltage are 3 amps and 300 VAC/VDC with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. And, the new products are UL/cUL certified.
