According to reports, on June 16-17, the first working group meeting of the International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers initiated by the State Grid Corporation of China was held in Beijing. Representatives include officials of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Standards Association (IEEE-SA), State Grid Corporation of International Cooperation, UHV Construction, Ministry of Science and Technology, China Electric Power Research Institute, State Grid Institute of Electric Power, China Electric Equipment Co., Ltd. Discussions on "Overvoltage and Insulation Coordination for UHV AC Systems of 1000kV and Above", "Field Test Standards for UHV AC Equipment of 1000kV and Above and System Debugging Regulations", and "Voltage and Reactive Power Standards for UHV AC Systems of 1000kV and Above" "The four international standards" and "Test standard for energy storage system access to grid equipment" were initiated by the State Grid Corporation of China and were recently approved for the establishment of a project working group.

The above four standards belong to the UHV AC and energy storage two working groups. The chairmen of the UHV AC Working Group and each sub-working group and the sub-working group of energy storage projects are all served by experts from the State Grid Corporation of Systems.
