The power amplifier is to amplify the AC voltage signal outputted by the front-end D/A conversion circuit to meet the power source output power requirement. The power amplifier uses the OPA541 monolithic high-power integrated operational amplifier produced by BB. The maximum operating voltage of the amplifier chip is Â±40V and the maximum output current is 10A. In addition to good power output characteristics, it also has the advantages of convenient use and simple circuit debugging. The power amplifier circuit is shown in Figure 3.

(1) Output protection. When the load is inductive, the hysteresis spike of the voltage is caused by the hysteresis of the current, and the spike voltage appears at the output end of the power amplifier tube, which easily breaks through its output stage. In order to ensure the safety of the power amplifier tube, a high-speed fast recovery diode should be connected between the output terminal and the power supply, and the reverse recovery time is less than 100 ns.
(2) Current limit. In order to ensure that the power amplifier tube works in the safe working area, the current limiting resistor should be used for current limiting to prevent the current from being too large. When the current exceeds the set maximum current, the power amplifier tube will automatically protect against tube damage. The specific connection is shown in Figure 3. The selection of the current limiting resistor is as follows:

(3) Eliminate coupling and suppress interference. The main methods are: grounding the casing, shielding the power amplifier tube to prevent external interference. The input is isolated from the output loop to eliminate positive feedback due to the coupling capacitance.
