Overview:
This paper describes the practical significance of the voltage detection of the battery cells in series. Based on the comparison of existing detection methods, a new single cell voltage detection method combining switch matrix and differential amplifier is proposed. The related circuit is designed in detail and the experimental results are given. Compared with the current single cell voltage detection method, the method has the advantages of simple structure and high measurement precision.
With the development of pure electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles, the series battery pack, which is an important energy storage device, is a key factor affecting the performance of the whole vehicle.
Extending battery life and improving battery efficiency are the key to commercialization and practical use of electric vehicles. Due to the bucket effect, the overall performance of the series battery pack depends on the worst performing single cell in the battery pack. In order to effectively manage the energy usage of the series battery pack, it is necessary to monitor the state of the single battery in the series battery pack in real time. . In the parameters characterizing the state of the battery, the terminal voltage of the battery can best reflect its working state, so it is very important to accurately collect the voltage of each single cell in the battery pack.
At present, there are many methods for measuring the voltage of a single cell, which can be summarized as several methods such as voltage-diving resistor buck, floating ground measurement, and analog switch gating.
