MOCVD is ordered by Huashang to produce ultra-bright LED

On July 3, 2007, Aixtron announced that Taiwan's Arima has ordered a 49 x 2 inch AIX 2600G3 MOCVD system for mass production of red, yellow, yellow/green ultra-high brightness (UHB) LEDs. The system will be installed in the factory in Huashang in Taiwan.

According to Huashang Optoelectronics, Aixtron's MOCVD system is a leader in productivity, process performance, and continuous operation reproducibility. The existing AIX 2600G3 MOCVD system excels and is more attractive to customers than other existing tools. Last year, Huashang had ordered three Aixtron AlGaInP production equipment. These devices worked smoothly and the performance was very satisfying. Huashang decided to order another MOCVD system of the same configuration.
