The speed of the three patents per month at the beginning of its creation has made the industry I am amazed. All of this is inseparable from his leader Liu Guohong. As one of the few Tsinghua graduates in the electrical industry, why does he love switching to this area of ​​low technology? What kind of spirit does he bring to IDV?
From small inventors to entrepreneurs
In the eyes of the adults, Liu Guohong is a child who is "not doing business". He is lively and active, full of whimsy and eager to realize them. The success of the gizmo twice and twice made Liu Guohong fall in love with the design and achieved amazing results. The candle lights he invented won the Silver Award in the National Youth Invention Competition and the third prize in the Beijing International Invention Competition. In addition, he won more than ten different invention awards. Liu Guohong, who loves designing inventions, caught the attention of Tsinghua University. In 1989, at the age of 19, he was specially recruited into the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tsinghua University. After entering the university, Liu Guohong's hobby has not changed. Under the support of professional knowledge, his design invention has become more and more professional and practical, and he has won the first prize of Tsinghua University students' science and technology creation.
In 1993, Liu Guohong, who graduated from university, gave up the opportunity to stay in school and entered the Zhengzhou Light Vehicle Factory with his own dreams. After working for less than a year, he felt that the repressed environment of state-owned enterprises was not suitable for his own development, so he resolutely quit his iron rice bowl and continued to find a place to realize his dreams. In 1998, Hong Kong-owned enterprise Ou'an invested in a switch factory in Foshan, and Liu Guohong entered the company as an engineer. Since then, it has formed an indissoluble bond with the electrician industry. Although in just three short years, the factory failed because of poor management, but Liu Guohong, who witnessed the whole process of the decline of Ou Ya Yaxing, recognized the reasons for the failure of the company, which also found his later road to entrepreneurship. The right direction.
Liu Guohong, who was frustrated in the electrician industry, returned to his hometown in Hubei. In March 2000, he accidentally saw the news of TCL International Electrician recruiting engineers when he read the "Yangcheng Evening News". He decided to come to Guangdong for the second time. Back to the familiar electrical industry. Speaking of this decision, Liu Guohong was relieved: "At that time, my relatives and friends around me didn't understand it. I think that the high-caliber student who graduated from Tsinghua University should be engaged in high-tech research work. I don't understand why I would choose the switch. This little thing, but I decided that this choice is the starting point of my career."
Recalling the feeling of his first arrival in Huizhou, Liu Guohong still remembers it. It was an early spring evening, strolling along the West Lake in Huizhou, looking at the beauty like the waters of the south of the Yangtze River. He said to himself: "This is 1
Liu Guohong, who entered TCL International Electric, ushered in the first problem - the British series of switches. This is a cooperation project between TCL and a German company. It has been a few years ago, but it has not been successful. Now the research team led by Liu Guohong finally overcome this problem. This achievement brought a great sense of accomplishment to Liu Guohong and brought good benefits to TCL. Since then, his position has also been promoted from the engineer and chief engineer to the head of R&D and the head of the electrician manufacturing. The promotion of the position brought Liu Guohong not only glory, but also made him feel the responsibility is great. He also devoted more enthusiasm to product development and solving difficult problems, in his own words; "I was then I am mainly responsible for solving the incurable diseases and some 'historical issues', and I am happy to be among them. The more difficult the problem, the more I want to challenge."
At that time, a main venue of the 9th National Games used the TCL switch, but when it was only half a month away from the opening ceremony, the switch had a problem. The urgency of the time made the relevant personnel anxious like an ant on the hot pot. Finally, this hot potato I handed it to Liu Guohong and gave him three days to overcome the problem. After receiving the task, in order to overcome the problem as soon as possible, Liu Guohong kept himself in the small room. No one expected that he had completed the task satisfactorily in one day.
In March 2005, Liu Guohong left TCL Electric, and together with several like-minded partners, he founded IDV International Electric in Huizhou.
