Huami Huangwang: Silicon Valley hardware entrepreneurship lags behind Shenzhen

The first difference is that Silicon Valley is too smart to start a smart hardware venture from the manufacturing center. The Pearl River Delta, centered on Shenzhen, is the manufacturing center of the world. The startups in Shenzhen can open molds in 45 days, and the same competitors in Silicon Valley may take 3-4 times. "This is the era of competition speed. If the speed is slow, the competitiveness will be greatly reduced." Huang Wang said.

The second difference is hardware cost and supply chain control. Silicon Valley startups are much worse than Chinese startups.

In the past two years, China has a slogan that moves to the sea. Huang Wang believes that the Chinese market should be seized first. "But anyone who can very well occupy the Chinese market will not be too bad in the world. Chinese consumers are the most demanding consumers in the world. They want good things and they are cheap. ."

“In the past ten years, Chinese consumers have seen too many small things. If you want to do a lot in the field of smart hardware, one of the ways is to solve Chinese consumers. Naturally, competitiveness will be strong." Huang Wang said.
