Exports of electrical and electronic products increased by 19.2% in the first 8 months

The reporter learned from the website of the General Administration of Customs that the General Administration of Customs recently announced the import and export of China's foreign trade from January to August. In the first eight months, the total value of China's foreign trade imports and exports reached 235.53 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 25.4% over the same period of last year. Among them, exports were 122.63 billion U.S. dollars, up 23.6%; imports were 1,129.9 billion U.S. dollars, up 27.5%. The trade surplus was 92.73 billion U.S. dollars, a decrease of 10%.

According to customs statistics, in the first 8 months, China's export of mechanical and electrical products was 691.11 billion US dollars, an increase of 19%. Among them, the export of electrical and electronic products was 282.64 billion US dollars, an increase of 19.2%; the export of machinery and equipment was 227.63 billion US dollars, an increase of 16.5%.
